About Us
Revise is entering a build-and-scale phase in East Africa. We’re an early-stage accelerator and venture studio helping founders launch high-impact companies across themes like Energy & Climate, Education, Finance, E-commerce, and Cybersecurity—with a strong mentor network from Europe and the U.S.
We’re hiring a Partnerships & Capital Manager to develop program funding, sponsorships, and strategic alliances that power our cohorts and studio ventures.
You’ll own the full lifecycle: mapping the ecosystem, cultivating partners, shaping proposals/sponsorships, closing commitments, and stewarding multi-year relationships. You’ll collaborate daily with the studio leads, venture builders, and program team to align funding with our founders’ needs and Revise’s focus areas
Key responsibilities
Pipeline & strategy
Build a robust pipeline of capital and partners: local and regional investors, corporates, foundations, development agencies, universities, and hubs aligned to Revise’ focus areas.
Track ecosystem trends (e.g., climate/AI, edtech, fintech) to prioritize near-term program funding and long-term studio capacity. Tech In Africa+1
Ensure program-specific efforts complement Revise’s broader venture studio thesis and East Africa footprint.
Partnership development
Lead outreach, meetings, and co-design of partnerships (cash/in-kind) with investors, corporates, and ecosystem actors (accelerators, hubs, universities, embassies).
Create sponsorship packages for cohorts, demo days, and thematic tracks (e.g., Energy & Climate, AI for SMEs)
Negotiate MOUs and deliverables; maintain strong, transparent relationships.
Capital & proposals
Originate and drive proposals for program grants, catalytic capital, and co-investment vehicles (with DFIs, foundations, corporate innovation, and local funds).
Coordinate budgets and narratives with program, finance, and venture teams; ensure compliance and on-time reporting.
Ecosystem & founder success
Connect Revise ventures with relevant partners, pilots, and customers; help structure pilots/POCs with corporates and public sector.
Support founder recruiting and co-founder matching initiatives and studio-led trainings.
Systems & learning
Keep opportunities, interactions, and reporting current in shared systems (e.g., HubSpot/Notion/Airtable); track KPIs (pipeline, close rate, renewal).
